Niagara Falls viewed from the American side

Where the river
meets the sky.

Niagara Falls has drawn travelers since the earliest days. The American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls offer a different perspective than the Canadian side—closer, more intimate, and entirely our own.

Walk the observation decks, ride the Maid of the Mist, and feel the mist on your face. This is nature at its most immediate.

Things worth seeing

Goat Island

A peaceful wooded island that splits the falls. Paths lead to Terrapin Point and the Cave of the Winds. Bring sturdy shoes.

Prospect Point

The classic view. Elevator to the base and a short walk to the edge. Best at sunrise when the crowds are still sleeping.

Old Fort Niagara

Historic French and British stronghold at the mouth of the Niagara River. Cannons, barracks, and sweeping lake views.
