The karaoke machine is not an instrument of entertainment. It is the final instrument in his collection of rare objects: a single, hand-assembled console that exists solely for those invited after midnight.
Hand-lacquered rosewood cabinet. Gold-plated microphone stands. A 24-carat gold-plated needle mechanism. The machine contains exactly 47 songs, all personally selected by Vale himself.
No digital display. No remote. No queue. The owner decides when the next voice begins.
Each evening begins at 11:47pm. Guests arrive in formal dress. Vale selects the first song. The evening ends only when the final note has been sung and the room returns to silence.
